Akshaya recited a poem to me!

Today on the phone Akshaya recited so excitedly to me a poem! Dedicated to me:) 

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Honey is sweet

And so are you... Aatha! 

Aww!!! I'm touched! And feel so blessed! 

She didn't make it up of course- she learnt it in school but I'm delighted because I can hear her delight in having understood and recited the poem to me:) 

More beautiful than a rainbow

My daughter just spoke to me - she says she's made me card that she has painted so beautifully - when I told her I couldn't wait to see it she hastened to caution me.. " it's not that beautiful ok... Not like a rainbow!"

How could I tell her - that phrase itself is so beautiful! A similie so heartfelt! And of course the first thought in my head- she was my sweetest gift - indeed more beautiful than a rainbow!

Surprise!

Hey.. What was a secret hope last week is now more likely a reality... I believe we are expecting our third baby!!!!

I am excited of course.. It was like a secret cherished hope I didn't dare think would come true- ashwin seemed such a fluke and we mattered so few times it didn't seem nec to take on any 'precautions' - but god has blessed us again and my heart feels full:)  

I am happy. I can tell Saro is happy too though a bit bewildered. Not sure how our parents will take it though... For one thing they both want their other children to have their first kids. 

For another , especially for my mum , another baby most probably means more work for her! How? I could work part time. We still have run. She can still go ahead to do her work she wants to half a day ? Yes? Or I might need to consider taking 1 year no pAy - at least let them know I'm thinking of theses things do she knows she's free to pursue her goals.
